Abstract

As a basic process in early childhood learning, al-Asmâ’ al-Ḫusnâ takes a crucial role to build children’s characters. al-Asmâ’ al-Ḫusnâ is an effective and appropriate model to be applied in the early childhood character building. Webbed model proposed by Robin Fogarty considered effective to be applied in early childhood education because these models are student-centred, behaviourist, flexible, and interest-centred. In this process, the children will be able to know and memorize al-Asmâ’ al-Ḫusnâ which is adjusted with the theme of the subject learned. In this way, the core of Al Asmâ’ al-Ḫusnâ will blend to their personality.

Based on the results of this research achievement, pre-cycle 63%, and increas to 77% in the first cycle and increase again to 82% in the second cycle and 93% in the third cycle. it shows an increase in the next cycle.

Al-Asmâ’ al-Ḫusnâ is a model inserts characters of Allah in building early childhood characters. Education is expected to discuss Allah’s good values to be internalized into children’s characters. A good foundation of good faith will become a strong basis for children to run their life so that they will not be trapped in secular and liberal thoughts in the future. The teachers should design fun learning model for children especially in their golden ages.
